The Oregon Council on Multiracial Affairs
  OCMA was a volunteer-based civic organization with the primary goal of providing support and advocacy for multiracial children and families.

The Oregon Council on Multiracial Affairs was Federal Non-Profit status. The group primarily focused on promoting the awareness of the US Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia, 388 U.S. 1 (1967). More Information

 

 OCMA organized and produced annual events marking the Supreme Court decision that voided state laws preventing or discriminating against inter-racial marriage in the US. There were several one-day event that included panel and round-table discussion on: 1) the historical significance of this Supreme Court decision, 2) current social, political, and family issues faced by the multiracial community, and 3) future impact of the multiracial community in our local, regional and state political and business arenas.
